## Sodium acetate trihydrate

The current file, `Sodium_acetate_trihydrate.pdf`, is an Alphachem SDS for
Sodium Acetate Trihydrate, CAS `6131-90-4`, codes `S01110` / `S01120`, with
`>99%` composition. It was prepared in 2015 and last revised in 2016.

When querying the supplier, request the current documentation for the exact
lot/product offered:

- current SDS revision;
- certificate of analysis (CoA);
- assay and stated purity basis;
- confirmation that the material is sodium acetate **trihydrate**, not
  anhydrous sodium acetate or another hydrate;
- water/hydration or loss-on-drying specification;
- trace-metal and insoluble-matter limits;
- lot number, manufacture date, and retest/expiry information; and
- storage and packaging requirements for retaining the hydrate state.

This documentation supports material identity only. It does not qualify SAT
for a NanoArc cartridge; thermal cycling, mass-loss, containment, corrosion,
and cartridge-level performance testing remain required.
